Steel Architectural Awards 2026

The Steel Architectural Awards 2026 continues its distinguished legacy of recognising excellence in steel architecture. First introduced in 2024 as the BlueScope Steel Architectural Award (BSAA), the award was established to honour outstanding architectural achievements and the visionary talents shaping the built environment in Malaysia.

Rebranded this year as the Steel Architectural Awards, it carries forward the same enduring purpose, to celebrate design excellence in coated steel, while advancing innovation, sustainability, and meaningful community impact through architecture that shapes resilient future.

Shaping Resilient Future: Timeless Design with Coated Steel

This year’s theme invites participants to explore how coated steel, with its enduring strength and timeless aesthetic, can serve as a powerful architectural medium. Steel’s durability, adaptability, and visual appeal enable designs that not only stand the test of time but also meet the evolving needs of communities and the environment, building truly resilient spaces for the future.

More than an award, the Steel Architectural Awards 2026 is a prestigious platform to celebrate architectural distinction, spotlight transformative ideas, and inspire the future of timeless and resilient steel architecture in Malaysia.
